The Internet is a Sarlacc Pit

Well, it appears that the internet opened up like a gaping, toothy maw and swallowed every caption I wrote for every image on this god-forsaken site. They were funny, too. Test audiences laughed so hard that their insides ruptured and they spurted blood. It was intense. Hmm. Now that I think about it, maybe it’s better that these captions were lost to the world. Much like the face of God, the Ark of the Covenant, or Oliver Stone’s Alexander, there are things humanity should never see. So, either celebrate or mourn the loss of every one of my site’s captions. I will write them again. And, while I may never recapture the brilliance of the original, I can still make a half-assed attempt to kind of get the same feeling. George Lucas has made a fortune doing the same thing. God, I take the cheapest of the cheap shots, don’t I?

I almost took offense, but I guess ‘god-forsaken’ is appropriate. It is your site, after all. :P

Captions disappearing…? I might know who is responsible for that. He is a very bad person who deserves a most horrid fate.
