You think helicopters stop Godzilla? You are sadly mistaken. Only the powers of Matthew Broderick can destroy Godzilla, and he’s too busy filming Inspector Gadget 3: Gadget Does Dallas. Go Go Gadget Moneyshot!

Last night, Megan and I went to a Texas Rollergirls derby match. The Hustlers were squaring off against the Assassination City Special Ops (Dallas’ travel team), and the Hell Marys were in vicious contention with the Hot Rod Honeys as to who would leave the rink Undefeated. …however, during the second half of the Hustler’s bout, the power went out. Apparently there was a huge storm, but we couldn’t hear it over the rock music, screaming fans, and Rollergirl brutality. We waited for 10 or 15 minutes to no avail, and then had to walk 2 or 3 blocks back to the car in the pouring rain. We were *soaked*, but it was a great night anyway. If you’re in the Austin area (or any other area with a Rollergirls league), I highly recommend checking it out. Hot girls in sexy outfits, knocking the everloving crap out of each other? Worth the price of admission.
