An Annual Event

ZomBGramWe are all born, in one fashion or another. Most of us are pushed out into the world, screaming at the loss of our comfortable wombpartment(tm). Others simply congeal within a pile of oily rags in a disused corner of a filthy basement, and outgrow their spawning ground. So, whether we are squeezed out, budded off, or implanted in the flesh of an unwilling host until we grow into a grotesque cyst and burst forth fully formed, we all have birthdays.

Mine is fast approaching.

Last year’s celebration consisted of dressing myself and some friends as zombies, and invading our local karaoke haunt to sing like the damned. I am considering repeating this, as I still have an abundance of airbrush makeup and fake blood. …and I never tire of the walking dead. Also, I have a really cute pregnant friend who is willing to let me paint a cutaway of a zombie fetus on her pregnant belly. I think that opportunity alone is worth the entire event. Heh!

Also, I am working on a d20 gaming system for zombie apocalypse-themed roleplaying with some friends, and doing a great deal of illustrations for it. I have zombies on the brain. …and they’re eating it. …as zombies are wont to do. Anyhow, I suppose this is my way of fishing for ideas on how to celebrate a birthday. I have done Zombioke, and strip clubs, and costume parties… all of which have been great deals of fun. But what does everyone else think? Leave me a comment and let me hear your ideas on how to celebrate the anniversary of my daring escape from En Utero.

I am so sorry. I still feel really bad about not making it. I wish I had. You can still paint me just for the hell of it if you want. I love you!!!

I’d be willing to do this as well.
