Yesterday was a big day here in America. About as big as they come. …and I am only slightly ashamed to say that I didn’t get a whole lot of work done because of it.

My plans for today, however, include getting more completed on the Community Commission No. 2! I’m hoping to have the second pinup penciled before the end of the day, in addition to putting the finishing touches on a brand new t-shirt design! When it’s ready, I’ll give you a peek at it. It’s gonna make you laugh ’til milk spurts out of your nose. …even if you’re not drinking milk. Mwahahaha!

….but…..but…. Where will the milk come from?!

I tell you what… working on this Community Commission is exacting work. It’s not easy drawing luscious pinup girls for you people. It means hours upon hours of tireless, thankless work perusing through pictures of sexy women. We call that “reference.”

Hey everyone!

The last couple weeks have been tougher than usual for me to be creative. I don’t know if all my creative energies were being subconsciously funneled into Halloween somehow, or if I just got a routine blockage. Whatever the case, I think I got it taken care of today. Here is a pictographic representation of what I think happened. Remember that creativity, much like the Internet, is a series of tubes:

I’d been having a serious block when it came to the main layout of Community Commission No. 2… but I got a great start on one of the two pieces today! Here are the pencils:

Also, for those of you who have been writing in to ask about the box of puppies I saved last week, they’re doing great! You can see a live feed of them (and get stabbed in the eyes by Icepicks of Cute) here!

Despite what some folks on the street might tell you, it is not “all about the Benjamins.” It is, in fact, all about the Martins. ‘Cause with the way the art is shaping up on the $7 bills, and the toilet-bound ways of the American Dollar, I think Marty Money could just become the new gold standard.
